  • The standard IEC 61000-2-4 stipulates the limits for industrial and non-public power distribution systems. It represents a guideline for many product and mechanical engineering standards and defines immunity levels for voltage distortion that machines and systems in industrial plants must comply with in all operational states. Exceeding these levels – especially for longer periods of time – leads to downtime, unnecessary repair expenses, and possible production stops.

  • To ensure the error-free operation of installed systems and machines, the voltage quality in all technical systems must be monitored continuously in accordance with IEC 61000-2-4.

  • The Janitza-APP IEC 61000-2-4 WATCHDOG automatically performs the complex analysis of the measurement data for the user in compliance with the thresholds of the standard. The integrated visualization, which was designed based on the traffic light principle, makes it possible to immediately see threshold violations and the norm.

  • UMG 605, UMG 512 are compatible with the app IEC 61000-2-4 Watchdog.

  • UMG 604, UMG 509 are compatible with the app IEC 61000-2-4 Watchdog Light.

The apps IEC 61000-2-4 Watchdog Light and IEC 61000-2-4 Watchdog Light Pro are suitable for devices (see above) that support parameters for evaluation as per the standard IEC 61000-2-4 only conditionally.
