Assistant App Management - Remove Apps

  1. Open the assistant App Management in the GridVis software and select your device(s), as described in Device Selection .

  2. Click on the button Continue.

  3. The step Select Action appears.

  4. Click on the button Remove.

  5. The App Selection appears for the removal of apps:

Guides the user through the app configuration on app-compatible devices.

Provides help in the selection of your app.

Opens an entry field.

Enter the name of the app you are searching for.

The presentation field shows the installed apps on the selected devices.

Apps with deactivated checkbox images/download/thumbnails/251036268/175_checkbox_unchecked_standard_lb-version-1-modificationdate-1517403853000-api-v2.png are not removed.

Apps with activated checkbox images/download/thumbnails/251036268/39_checkbox_ok_standard_lb-version-1-modificationdate-1517403853000-api-v2.png are removed.

Arrow images/download/thumbnails/251036268/119_navi_left_standard_lb-version-1-modificationdate-1517403853000-api-v2.png images/download/thumbnails/251036268/123_navi_right_standard_lb-version-1-modificationdate-1517403853000-api-v2.png for spin box navigation.

Shows the number of selected apps in relation to the number of existing apps in the spin box.

Shows the action step (screen grab above: App Selection) with the number and the total number of the action steps.

Shows descriptions for the corresponding app, or the respective action step.

List of devices that are compatible with the selected app.

List of serial numbers of devices that are compatible with the selected app.

Screen preview and brief text for the selected app.

Information about the app, such as

  • Item number

  • Name

  • Version

  • Required slots (program spots)

  • Stand alone

  • Manufacturer

  • Manufacturer ID

  • Available for a price

Aborts the process and closes the assistant App Management.

Takes the user in one action step back.

If the function is active, the icon white will appear.

If the entries are correct, the icon white appears and takes the user to the next action step in the assistant.

If the entries are correct, the icon white appears and closes the assistant.

6 After you have selected your apps, click on the button Continue (Pos. 13).
7 The step Remove will appear.

Name of the measuring device.

Hold the mouse cursor over the Measuring Device Name, to see the IP address, firmware and MAC address of the device.

Display of slot capacity (Jasic program spots):

  • Black - Occupied slots.

  • White - Vacant slots.

  • Green - Slots marked for the installation.

  • Red - Slots marked for removal (cf. Pos. 6).

  • Gray - Slot status unknown.

Hold the mouse cursor over the slots to show the Occupancy and Status of the slot in a tool tip.

  • Information about theapp appears (Item number, Name, Version, Required slots, Stand alone, Manufacturer, Manufacturer ID, Available for a price).

  • a red x appears to directly remove the app (via a security query).

Green app icons - Apps to be installed

Red app icons - Apps to be removed (cf. Pos. 8).

Removes apps (red app icons) with a security query (Remove Apps - Yes/no).

After successful deinstallation, an overview of your selected devices and apps will appear.

Shows the action step with the number and the total number of the action steps.
