Analog output

Define the function for the analog output.

How to configure the analog output:

If the analog output is not yet displayed, you must first activate it:

1. Click on the output in the device image.

2. Activate the output.
   The Analog output configuration card is displayed.

3. Make the settings on the configuration card.

Select value

Select the value to be output as an analog signal.

Type of measured value

Average value, minimum value and maximum value refer to the time interval defined under General > Sliding Average.

If the selected average, minimum or maximum value does not exist, the assigned measured value is selected automatically and output via analog output after the configuration has been transferred to the device.
Check the setting after transferring the configuration.

Reference value given as Modbus register

After transferring a configuration to the measurement device, this field displays the Modbus register corresponding to the measured value selected for output via the analog output.

Start value

The value to which the lower output signal (0 or 4 mA) should correspond.

End value

The value to which the upper output signal (20 mA) should correspond.
