Licensing with a web client
Note
You need a Janitza ID and the GridVis Web for licensing via a web client (see Logging in to Janitza ID ).
If you use the GridVis service without Internet access, but the browser used on your system has Internet access, license your project in the GridVis Web offline using a web client.
If the system on which you are running the GridVis does not have Internet access and you are only using the GridVis Desktop, license your project offline (see Offline licensing ).
Starting the licensing
Open the General project settings in the GridVis Web.
Add the project you want to license to the GridVis Web. The project does not have to be the main project.
The Janitza ID login window opens.
Log in with the access data for your Janitza ID.
Alternatively, log in with an existing Google account.
Selecting the license
You can see the licenses in your Janitza ID.
Select the license with which you want to license the project.
Confirm your selection with Continue.
Alternatively, you can also license the project with a new license (see Using a license key ).
Finish licensing
The wizard licenses your project and carries out the file exchange in the background, which you do manually during offline licensing. Complete the action with the Finish button.
The new project is now shown in your license under Activated projects (see Manage licenses ).
